Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, delivering personalized, attentive service and selling/delivering a broad range of fee income and retail banking products.
  • •Establish and update client understanding of financial needs via personal financial planning analysis; coordinate with investment-related advisors to align with investment and asset allocation objectives.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, and investment trends; provide personal financial planning/advisory guidance to clients and their CPAs and attorneys.
  • •Drive revenue growth, profitability, and retention by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing products, participating in the sales management process, and managing sales activity and pipeline in the bank’s contact management system.
  • •Coordinate integrated client service and development with internal product specialists (IRM partners) and external centers of influence, while adhering to audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and related training.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience working with clients in banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year in a financial client relationship manager role).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory, insurance, and investment management/asset allocation concepts for mass affluent clients.
  • •Maintain active required credentials and licenses, including SIE and FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) and applicable insurance licenses; also meet SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act and NMLS requirements within required timelines.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, plus strong written/verbal/presentation skills and basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
