Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up machines to specification, fill and label products, and clean and sanitize equipment between orders.
  • •Read and understand batch reports to set up machines to order specification.
  • •Verify batch weights and quantities using mathematical calculations.
  • •Assist Group Leader and Production Supervisor with training new employees and performing competency reviews as needed.
  • •Follow all plant policies for safety/emergency, conduct, maintenance, and sanitation, and follow Good Manufacturing Practices for food products.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED preferred (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Diploma).
  • •Previous food plant experience and forklift truck experience and license required.
  • •Basic math skills required.
  • •Ability to be on your feet 60%-90% of the day, and frequently lift a 35 lb. product hose; frequently move, lift, pull & push up to 50 lbs.
  • •Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot & cold).
