Job Summary

Own the engineering scope for complex McDermott projects, establishing procedures and managing technical execution to meet contractual quality and content requirements. Lead development of project execution plans, including multi-office (MOPEX) coordination and division of responsibility. Supervise and guide project engineers, manage design documentation and technical queries/RFIs, and drive change, cost/schedule/budget control. Support proposal preparation and oversee orderly project handover and closeout deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the engineering scope and technical execution of McDermott projects to meet contractual requirements.
•Establish and implement project procedures and the Project Execution Plan, including MOPEX multi-office execution and DOR matrix development.
•Coordinate and communicate across engineering disciplines; prepare and approve design documentation, meeting minutes, technical queries, design deviations, and RFI responses.
•Assume responsibility for cost, schedule, quantity, and budget control, and manage change effectively and proactively.
•Develop and maintain Project Engineering documents, support proposals, and lead orderly handover/archiving including closeout reports and lessons learned.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
•15-20 years of Project Engineering experience, including 5-10 years as a Project Engineering Manager on multiple projects.
•Preferably Registered Engineer in Training (ElT) or a member of a professional engineering society (as applicable).
•Demonstrated broad technical knowledge of detailed design engineering codes and standards, plus strong knowledge of engineering design procedures and processes.
•Experience with international projects using multi-office (MOPEX) execution, JV/consortium delivery, and proposal/contractual documentation.
