Key Responsibilities

  • •Project management of geological and geotechnical projects, including tailings facility site investigations and buildings/infrastructure projects.
  • •Interpret geological and geotechnical data, perform analysis, and draw conclusions/recommendations.
  • •Prepare proposals, tenders, reports, and other technical deliverables, including methodology and cost estimations.
  • •Conduct field observations and geological/geotechnical reporting; characterize ground conditions and materials.
  • •Supervise technicians and junior staff; identify safety hazards, report OH&S incidents, and conduct work safely.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • •Post-graduate studies in Geotechnical Engineering (preferable).
  • •At least 8 years’ post-graduate experience.
  • •Professional registration with ECSA.
  • •Consolidated experience in Geotechnical Investigations—factual and interpretive.
