Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and direct preparation of NRC Environmental Reports and NEPA documents (EAs, EISs) for nuclear and other energy projects.
  • •Define and oversee execution of environmental field and technical studies, then integrate findings into ER and NEPA deliverables.
  • •Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically sound, regulatory-compliant analyses across environmental resource areas.
  • •Direct complex NEPA assessments and manage projects from pursuit through execution (scope, schedule, budget, quality).
  • •Provide quality oversight for client/agency submittals, mentor staff/SMEs, and support proposals and client relationship management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in environmental/biological science, planning, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •12+ years leading NEPA/environmental impact assessments for energy or nuclear projects, including proposal leadership and client-facing delivery.
  • •Strong command of NEPA and implementing regulations/guidance.
  • •Demonstrated experience preparing or managing NRC Environmental Reports (ER) and nuclear licensing reviews.
  • •Strong technical writing, communication, and the ability to synthesize inputs into defensible documents suitable for public review.
