Job Summary

Lead mechanical engineering activities by interpreting internal and external business issues and recommending best practices. Execute conceptual, FEED, and detailed mechanical analyses and designs in line with project specifications, design codes, and standards. Prepare and review design calculations, reports, and deliverables, manage interfaces for clash-free designs, and provide technical leadership to teams and vendors across complex projects.

•Prepare clear and accurate design calculations, analyses, reports, and procedures; manage time to meet objectives and forecast resources as needed.
•When acting as Lead Engineer, direct mechanical engineering teams and lead discipline execution for scope, deliverables, schedules, and workforce resources.
•Coordinate and interface with all disciplines and departments to ensure clash-free designs and timely inputs for drawings and deliverables.

•Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
•15–20 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant performing detail design.
•Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society.
•Seasoned structural knowledge and the ability to solve complex problems without assistance.
•Fluent in English and experienced with HSE and TQM, with strong organizing, motivating, and supervisory skills.
