Key Responsibilities

  • •Support and undertake analysis of the medium- and long-term development of Etihad’s network and provide recommendations.
  • •Optimize seasonal and intra-seasonal profitability by shaping the local traffic proposition while maximizing connectivity (frequency, capacity, timings).
  • •Calibrate, fine-tune, and use the network planning tool to model scenarios and generate recommendations.
  • •Develop business cases and forecasts that support Etihad’s financial objectives; validate assumptions and operational feasibility with relevant departments.
  • •Prepare business cases for new routes, new aircraft, new schedules, refresh the five-year network plan and passenger/revenue forecasts, and support annual budget development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an internationally recognized university.
  • •Masters degree in a relevant discipline would be an advantage.
  • •Overall 10+ years of work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in airline Network Planning.
  • •Experience with Lufthansa Systems Network Planning and Scheduling suite (especially NetLine Plan) would be an advantage.
  • •Strong verbal and written English, and confidence in making presentations to senior management.
