Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee projects through all phases of delivery (Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Construction Procurement, Construction Contract Administration)
  • •Supervise production of detailed design drawings and specifications, ensuring technical accuracy and conformance with building codes
  • •Sealing Architect of Record on Commercial sector projects (have OAA seal or apply for seal after onboarding)
  • •Coordinate with internal disciplines (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Landscape, Sustainability) and external sub-consultants to align timelines and deliverables
  • •Interface with clients and user groups, acting as a trusted client advisor and mentor project teams

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 110,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS + six (6) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • •Extensive familiarity with the Ontario Building Code and National Building Code; familiarity with the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings is an asset
  • •Registered Architect in good standing with the Ontario Association of Architects
  • •Proficiency with Revit and BIM workflows, AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Bluebeam Revu Studio proficiency is an asset
