Key Responsibilities

•Oversee projects through all phases of delivery (Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Construction Procurement, Construction Contract Administration)
•Supervise production of detailed design drawings and specifications, ensuring technical accuracy and conformance with building codes
•Sealing Architect of Record on Commercial sector projects (have OAA seal or apply for seal after onboarding)
•Coordinate with internal disciplines (Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Landscape, Sustainability) and external sub-consultants to align timelines and deliverables
•Interface with clients and user groups, acting as a trusted client advisor and mentor project teams

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 110,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BA/BS + six (6) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•Extensive familiarity with the Ontario Building Code and National Building Code; familiarity with the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings is an asset
•Registered Architect in good standing with the Ontario Association of Architects
•Proficiency with Revit and BIM workflows, AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Bluebeam Revu Studio proficiency is an asset
