Key Responsibilities

•Perform maintenance and installation of telecommunications equipment, including microwave radios, industrial wireless systems, SCADA communication systems, VSAT, CDMA, phone systems, digital multiplexers, and LAN/WAN networks.
•Diagnose complex telecommunications problems to isolate outages and restore services.
•Use a ticketing system to document resolution of telecom outages, installations, and repairs.
•Interface with employees, management, vendors, and customers professionally and professionally handle communications by email and phone.
•Schedule daily work efficiently, work with limited supervision, and be available for callout/unscheduled overtime, non-traditional hours, and travel with a company vehicle.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or an Associate’s Degree in Electronics Technology; 4+ years in electronic technology or telecommunications may substitute for the degree.
•Minimum 3 years of direct, active telecommunications work experience (Level II Tech and higher).
•Solid training/understanding of electronics or telecommunications through work experience.
•Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license (travel); TWIC may be required and you must be able to obtain/retain it.
•Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities to identify and resolve telecommunications issues, with strong written/verbal communication and documentation attention to detail.
