Job Summary

Build and scale e-commerce recommendation algorithms and systems for TikTok Shop, including commodity, live-stream, and short-video recommendations. Key Responsibilities

•Participate in building large-scale (10 million to 100 million) e-commerce recommendation algorithms and systems for TikTok Shop, including commodity, live-stream, and short-video recommendations.
•Build long- and short-term user interest models and analyze/extract relevant information from large datasets to efficiently explore latent user interests.
•Design, develop, evaluate, and iterate on predictive models for candidate generation and ranking, including CTR and conversion rate prediction.
•Build real-time data pipelines, perform feature engineering, and apply model optimization and innovation to improve model performance.
•Design and build supporting/debugging tools as needed.

Key Requirements

•BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field with strong programming and problem-solving ability.
•At least 3 years of experience in recommendation algorithms, online advertising, information retrieval, NLP, computer vision, machine learning, large-scale data mining, or related fields.
•Experience with recommendation algorithms such as Collaborative Filtering, Matrix Factorization, Factorization Machines, Word2vec, Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting Trees, Deep Neural Networks, or Wide & Deep.
•Experience with deep learning tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
•Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C++ or Python (or equivalent).
