Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive an introduction to the business and an insight into engineering roles.
  • •Discuss career paths with existing staff and apprentices.
  • •Participate in employability workshops and practical activities.

  • •Complete the work experience during the fixed dates and location shown in the listing.

Key Requirements

  • •Be 16–18 (in year 12 at time of application, going into year 13 in September).
  • •Have achieved or be on track to achieve by August 2028: 5 GCSE A*-C (9-4) including Maths, English, and Science or a Technical subject.
  • •Have a minimum of 96 UCAS Tariff Points (240 point old system), excluding UCAS points gained at AS level.
  • •Complete either 3 A levels at grade C or above (including Maths and an Engineering/Science/Technical subject), or a STEM-based L3 Extended BTEC Diploma (or equivalent such as a T-Level) meeting the required UCAS points.
