Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in the development of the CFD team by performing CFD projects.
  • •Support project management by monitoring delivery, schedule, and efficiency.
  • •Liaise with other discipline leads to develop the CFD business.
  • •Liaise with third parties and clients as required.
  • •Ensure design methods, standards, and data conform to client and Wood requirements, and perform process calculation checking under Wood QA procedures while following safety and Environmental/Quality Assurance procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of a master’s degree in chemical engineering or related field; advanced degree majoring in CFD is a strong asset.
  • •Previous experience in CFD simulations for the Oil & Gas industry is required.
  • •0+ years of experience using commercial CFD software (ANSYS or Star-CCM) to conduct solid modelling and meshing for complex geometries.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of fluid mechanics and heat transfer in multiphase flows.
  • •Must be a Canadian citizen or authorized to work lawfully in Canada without sponsorship from Wood.
