Key Responsibilities

  • •Transport construction equipment to and from job sites using a Lowboy truck.
  • •Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete routine service/adjustments to the truck.
  • •Drive the truck to deliver and pick up equipment as needed.
  • •Operate and manage load cover/uncover and basic equipment handling during moves.
  • •Communicate effectively, follow verbal/written instructions, and work as a team player.

Key Requirements

  • •Operate a Lowboy truck safely and efficiently in a construction environment.
  • •Hold a Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) with required endorsements for 49 CFR383.91 (Group B heavy straight vehicle or Group A combination).
  • •Complete pre- and post-trip inspections (e.g., oil, water, horn, lights, tires, wipers, fire extinguisher, fuel, seat belt) and perform warm-up and basic operating checks.
  • •Follow verbal and written instructions and be able to communicate effectively as a team player.
  • •Occasionally lift/move up to 30 lbs and be able to climb, sit/drive, shift gears, cover/uncover loads, and use hand tools (e.g., wrenches/screwdrivers).
