Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead flight test engineering efforts, under minimal supervision, to plan, prepare, execute and report on test events for the Fury development program.
  • •Focus on envelope expansion, flying qualities, vehicle autonomy, and operational environment testing of new aircraft development.
  • •Ensure comprehensive flight test campaign execution for multiple test articles in support of high-risk test events.
  • •Oversee testing hardware and software across lab, ground, and flight environments, and drive process improvements to increase test efficiency.
  • •Support test execution at government test facilities with USG partners and coordinate with Flight Operations and Maintenance within the T&E IPT.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience as test conductor/director for developmental aircraft, weapons, or missile systems.
  • •A bachelor’s degree or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution; may substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
  • •Test engineering experience working with developmental systems of manned and/or unmanned aircraft, including requirements development, test planning and execution, and test reporting.
  • •Must have a complete understanding of Test & Evaluation engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory, with experience across program IPTs to influence system design or configuration.
  • •Ability to immediately obtain a U.S. Top Secret-Level security clearance.
