Job Summary

Pre-Sales Solutions Architect guiding customers to design and build scalable, reliable systems using the MongoDB data platform. You’ll partner with sales, advise on architecture patterns, and help drive deals from discovery through documentation while mentoring the team and staying aligned with customer business needs across startups to large enterprises.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Design scalable and performant applications, systems and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging MongoDB
•Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimisation strategies for MongoDB, communicating business value to stakeholders
•Collaborate with the sales team to drive account success through planning, prioritization, and pipeline contribution, owning technical discovery, demos, proofs of value, and documentation
•Proactively generate demand within the sales territory through technical initiatives and events
•Foster strong customer relationships and ensure customer success and satisfaction

Key Requirements

•8-11 years of related industry experience, ideally 5-7 years in a customer facing role
•Minimum of 3 years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#)
•Experience implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem
•Demonstrated ability to review complex architecture with customers and advise on improvements using technology
•Must have fluency in Mandarin (verbal and written)
