Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end delivery of complex projects and programmes, ensuring agreed scope, timeline, budget, quality, and governance standards.
  • •Create and manage high-level project plans, identifying critical paths and key dependencies.
  • •Track progress, costs, resources, and assignments; produce status updates on schedule, budget, benefits, risks, issues, and scope.
  • •Lead governance meetings, status reviews, and quality reviews, managing decisions, escalations, and corrective actions.
  • •Serve as the key client contact—help with the client plan, identify risks/dependencies, provide best-practice consultancy, manage day-to-day activities and escalations.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record delivering highly complex projects in geographically dispersed businesses, ideally with rollout management experience.
  • •Practical understanding of financial and commercial fundamentals, focused on improving profitability and reducing waste/expense within remit.
  • •Technical competency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Jira experience is advantageous.
  • •Recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, APM or AgilePM.
  • •Experience in technology and the payments industry, including knowledge of acquiring, cards, credit/debit, POS, SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, ISO, and SEPA.
