Job Summary

Lead landscape and hardscape design projects from concept through detailed design and construction supervision. Create landscape plans, drawings, and specifications that meet regulatory standards, conduct site assessments and feasibility studies, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Serve as technical lead, providing mentorship, reviewing contractor submittals and RFIs, and liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure quality and compliance throughout construction.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead landscape and hardscape design projects, including concept development, detailed design, and construction supervision.
•Develop landscape and hardscape plans, drawings, and specifications in accordance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
•Conduct site assessments, environmental analyses, and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
•Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate landscape and hardscape designs into overall project plans.
•Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies and monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance; review submittals, RFIs, and proposed design changes.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 15 years of experience in landscape architecture or hardscape design roles within the consultancy sector, with a focus on site supervision for infrastructure projects.
•Strong design skills and proficiency in landscape design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
•Knowledge of plant materials, irrigation systems, and construction materials for hardscape elements.
•Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
•Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field; Master's degree preferred; professional licensure/registration as a Landscape Architect advantageous.
