Job Summary

Junior engineer in bridges/structures supporting senior engineers, delivering 2D/3D structural drawings (including BIM) and applying CAD tools to assist design development on bridge projects. Will work on smaller projects or portions of larger ones, under supervision, contributing to technical career growth in civil/structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities

•Works on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by senior or experienced engineers, with work reviewed and supervised
•Delivers structural drawings in 2D and 3D (including BIM) along different stages of the design development
•Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems
•Collaborates with senior engineers and project team to support design development and ensure technical accuracy
•Contributes to preparation of construction documents and detailing as needed

Key Requirements

•Some working experience on bridges/structures design and/or clear appetite to develop a technical career in that field
•Good command of CAD software (preferable AutoCAD and/or MicroStation)
•Some experience in Structural Drawings, including detailing (reinforcement drawings advantageous)
•Working experience in BIM Modelling (i.e. Revit for Bridges or Structures) advantageous
•Communicative level of English (oral and written)
