Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with prescription processing, medication preparation, dispensing, labeling, and distribution according to approved orders and scope of practice.
  • •Review medication orders for completeness and refer clinical concerns (allergies, interactions, dosing issues, and discrepancies) to the Pharmacist before dispensing.
  • •Maintain medication stock levels across pharmacy and assigned wards, including ordering, receiving, issuing, replenishment, stock rotation, expiry monitoring, storage compliance, and inventory/cycle counts.
  • •Support controlled/semi-controlled/narcotic medication documentation, stock reconciliation, registers, and reporting in line with regulatory requirements and departmental controls.
  • •Assist with pharmacy billing (patient medication charges/credits and cash/card transactions as assigned), medication transfers, incident reporting/documentation, and quality/safety initiatives while maintaining confidentiality and ethical practice.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Pharmacy or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution, subject to applicable UAE professional licensing requirements.
  • •Current home-country professional registration where applicable.
  • •Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) License/Eligibility appropriate to the professional title and assigned scope of practice.
  • •Knowledge of medication dispensing processes, pharmaceutical terminology, medication storage requirements, inventory control, and pharmacy operations.
  • •Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in pharmacy operations, preferably within a hospital, clinic, or other healthcare setting.
