Job Summary

Manage and enhance the client money safeguarding and global regulatory treasury controls framework across Ebury’s entities. Support policy, procedures, horizon scanning, and risk assessments, including mapping regulatory requirements to actionable controls. Assist with audit delivery and remediation, review incidents and process enhancements, and partner with stakeholders across Tech, Data Product, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Internal Audit to strengthen operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the Group Head in maintaining the global safeguarding framework, establishing consistent standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and implementing controls.
•Support development of the regulatory treasury quality assurance and controls framework, including requirements related to CRR, MiFID, and EMIR.
•Assist with regulatory treasury horizon scanning, rules-to-gap mapping, and mapping treasury risks across treasury operations.
•Assist in designing and reviewing policies and procedures for new products and processes to meet treasury regulatory and client money safeguarding requirements.
•Support annual internal or external audit delivery and remediation, and review client regulatory treasury incidents controls and process enhancements.

Key Requirements

•Over 5 years working in a legal or regulatory background, with compliance, internal audit, external audit, controls implementation, or safeguarding experience valued.
•Business or legal degree.
•Experience reviewing and interpreting regulations and translating requirements into actionable items for stakeholders.
•Knowledge of the three lines of defence model in risk management and the risk and controls assessment process.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience establishing global policy frameworks and writing policy documents.
