Own Airbnb’s competitive intelligence capability by monitoring marketplace and product metrics, tracking industry and macroeconomic trends, and delivering leadership-ready insights. Partner with cross-functional teams across Supply, Global Markets, Product, and Marketing to run strategic deep dives. Lead the competitive intelligence data strategy, including external data providers, and ensure datasets and reporting are accessible and actionable via reliable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and manage regular competitive monitoring reporting across marketplace and product, including monthly leadership insights forums.
•Partner with stakeholders across Supply, Global Markets, Product, and Marketing to conduct strategic deep dives that inform key decisions.
•Lead the competitive intelligence data strategy by evaluating needed data, identifying potential sources, and managing external data providers and research vendors.
•Ensure competitive insights and datasets are accessible and actionable for cross-functional teams.
•Partner with Engineering and Data teams to deliver reliable competitive intelligence reporting infrastructure.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 204,000 - 245,000 annually

Key Requirements

•12+ years of relevant business and insights experience, ideally across finance and analytics, management consulting, investment banking, and/or business operations.
•AI proficiency or ability to become AI proficient (Claude or Gemini).
•Ability to work and influence cross-functionally with internal and external partners.
•Strong communication skills to synthesize fragmented information into clear, actionable stories and recommendations.
•Advanced presentation skills using Google Docs, Keynote, and Excel.
