Job Summary

Support the Product Services team with operational and commercial coordination for portside activities across China, including vessel berthing, cargo processing, and inventory-related operations. Assist in contract administration and vendor performance monitoring for port and service providers, manage operational risk registers, and prepare KPI dashboards, reports, and executive presentations. Help ensure safe, compliant, efficient delivery supporting Simandou ramp-up and sustained performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in developing and administering contractual frameworks, including service scopes, commercial terms, and supporting documentation.
•Coordinate commercial engagements with port operators, tertiary crushing operators, cargo agents, and inspection companies; track actions and maintain contract records.
•Monitor contractor performance against contractual requirements and agreed service levels, and support operational risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
•Prepare routine operational and commercial reports for internal stakeholders, maintain KPI dashboards, and support executive presentations and monthly business reviews.
•Support safe, efficient, compliant execution of daily port operations and maintain relationships with port authorities and key stakeholders in China.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Management, Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain Management, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in bulk commodity logistics, port operations, supply chain management, cargo handling, inventory management, and/or processing operations.
•Demonstrated knowledge of port operations, customs clearance processes, cargo inspection, warehousing activities, and operational risk management in a bulk commodity environment.
•Proven ability to coordinate complex operational activities across multiple locations with internal and external stakeholders.
•Fluent written and spoken English; advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint) with reporting/data analysis experience preferred.
