Job Summary

Lead the planning and execution of regional Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to drive full compliance with federal regulations and corporate requirements. Partner with site EHS and Process Safety Management (PSM) teams to implement management systems (ISO, PSM, EMS, SIPS), manage audits and incident reporting, and support environmental efficiency initiatives. Coach and develop team members while collaborating with facilities and corporate on performance trends and action plans.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist facility EHS teams to maintain a safe working environment and support uniform implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs, including reviewing and revising SOPs and control plans.
•Support environmental management and efficiency initiatives (water, energy, waste, and food loss/waste), including project scope documentation, project management, and reporting.
•Ensure safety compliance with federal regulations and corporate programs such as Injury Prevention System (SIPS), PSM, and EMS, including timely permit submissions.
•Report incidents to the EHS Operations Director, including regulatory visits/inquiries, fire, significant property damage, chemical spills/releases, EMS visits, and threats.
•Lead corporate audit teams to evaluate risk and support site audits/evaluations, preparing facilities for internal/external audits and helping close out open findings.

Travel: Extensive travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 162,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in environmental, health and safety (or related field) and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
•Ability to make strategic decisions in stressful situations, including leading emergency response efforts.
•Experience supporting and maintaining safety compliance with federal regulations and corporate EHS systems.
•Willingness to travel to other locations about 75% of the time depending on the initiative being executed.
