Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the complete payroll lifecycle from input collection and validation through processing, review/approvals, and final salary disbursement.
  • •Process payroll for India and other APAC countries while ensuring timeliness and adherence to country-specific payroll calendars and statutory deadlines.
  • •Coordinate with clients, employees, local payroll partners, and internal finance/stakeholders to resolve payroll queries and close issues within SLAs.
  • •Ensure Indian statutory compliance, including PF/ESI/PT/LWF and TDS under Section 192, covering calculations, payments, filings, challans, and required forms.
  • •Perform payroll reconciliations and quality checks, investigate variances, and support payroll implementation/transition and process improvement activities.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of Indian payroll processing experience in a multinational or shared services environment.
  • •Hands-on experience with Global Payroll models or payroll services for GCC/global clients.
  • •Deep, practical knowledge of Indian payroll regulations and APAC statutory requirements (e.g., PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and labour laws).
  • •Strong end-to-end payroll processing, reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • •Experience with payroll platforms, HRIS systems, or payroll software; payroll implementation/transition/new-country setup is a plus.
