Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain all mill machinery, including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, bearings, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  • •Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance by inspecting equipment and investigating irregularities.
  • •Troubleshoot issues to boost equipment reliability and implement safe, reliable fixes that maximize production uptime.
  • •Identify and request relevant parts needed to complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • •Support a safe work environment while collaborating with maintenance professionals, operations, production staff, and supervisors.

Key Requirements

  • •Superior troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
  • •Experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment (lumber manufacturing knowledge is an asset).
  • •Basic electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair machinery components.
  • •Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems on heavy manufacturing machinery.
  • •Ability to use a CMMS to schedule and document maintenance activities.
