Key Responsibilities

•Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes.
•Plan engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons and classroom learning resources, creating displays to support a positive environment.
•Observe, assess, and track student progress in line with school assessments using Target Tracker, and use assessment data to guide planning and intervention.
•Communicate effectively with parents/carers about student achievements and progress, including at Parent Teacher Conferences.
•Follow the school’s behaviour policy, manage classes effectively, act as a positive role model, and carry out duties as directed; support wider school events and a weekly ECA.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
•Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience.
•Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
•Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child, with high professionalism and consideration of children’s well-being.
•A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
