Job Summary

Support the Special Programs Security team by administering and maintaining program security policies and procedures for a classified environment. You’ll run security processes covering personnel processing, media control, document/material marking and control, visitor control, and classified destruction, while developing SOPs and OPSEC plans. Handle classified material testing, shipment, and storage, investigate security violations, support internal reviews and government inspections, and coordinate with ISSO/ISSM teams under NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, ICD 705, and JSIG.

Key Responsibilities

•Administer security procedures for operating in a classified environment, including personnel processing, media control, document/material marking and control, security education, visitor control, and destruction of classified materials.
•Develop, prepare, and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, and proprietary test plans using risk management principles.
•Support testing, shipment, and storage of classified materials and implement a media control program per JSIG requirements.
•Provide security oversight to subcontractors and suppliers via DD Form 254 or other contractual methods, and maintain a secure facility in accordance with ICD 705.
•Conduct internal reviews and/or Government inspections and investigate security infractions/violations, preparing reports on potential loss/compromise and associated program risk.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
•Experience conducting or supporting security audits, inspections, or internal reviews in compliance with NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, and/or ICD 705.
•Active and transferable Secret clearance level required at time of application, with U.S. government security clearance required prior to start date.
•Ability to develop, prepare, and implement local SOPs, OPSEC plans, and proprietary test plans using risk management principles.
•Experience in national security or related field is preferred.
