Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead or support environmental planning and compliance for energy infrastructure projects, including agency coordination and filings for transmission siting, routing, permitting, and certificate approval processes.
  • •Prepare technical studies and NEPA documentation and support multi-jurisdictional permitting efforts across Midwest regions.
  • •Manage early-stage due diligence for siting energy projects and associated infrastructure.
  • •Provide project management for small to mid-sized projects (schedules, budgets, invoicing) and support larger projects with coordination across clients, technical staff, and subconsultants.
  • •Contribute to proposal and cost estimate development, mentor junior and mid-level staff, and support pursuit and business development as a seller-doer.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in environmental planning, environmental science, geography, natural resources, engineering, or a related field.
  • •4 years of relevant experience supporting electric transmission and renewable energy permitting applications, routing/siting analysis, land use entitlement applications, and/or overseeing technical teams.
  • •Due to the nature of this work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • •Ability to travel for agency/client meetings as needed.
  • •A valid U.S. Driver's license is required for this role.
