Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and control station finance activities, including authorizing and evaluating corporate finance decisions across revenue, receivables, payables, cash/banking, payroll, general ledger, and taxation.
  • •Plan, organize, and manage budgeting and budgetary control, ensuring actual expenditure remains within approved limits.
  • •Implement and monitor accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls, and ensure proper maintenance of station accounting records and documentation.
  • •Oversee revenue and credit control processes, including sales collection, repatriation of funds, receivable ageing, overdue debts, and agent/GSA queries related to financial matters.
  • •Supervise finance sub-ordinates and represent the company on financial/accounting matters, coordinating with internal auditors and supporting tax and regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •5-7 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably with airline experience in expenditure and revenue accounting.
  • •University degree or equivalent; professional accounting qualification is an added advantage (CA/CPA/CMA/CFA).
  • •Strong accounting knowledge and ability to write concise, accurate financial reports and correspondence.
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • •Experience managing finance activities and supervising sub-ordinates at station/outstation level.
