Key Responsibilities

  • •Guard and safeguard non-citizen detainees and the general public in custodial or court settings while following ethical standards.
  • •Conduct security and sanitation checks, maintain order and discipline, and exercise surveillance and control over detainees.
  • •Maintain fitness standards and complete required basic and annual refresher training throughout the contract.
  • •Carry authorized intermediate weapons and ensure use aligns with approved Use of Force policy.
  • •Record processing logbook entries, inventory equipment, and prepare legible incident reports and narratives as required.

Key Requirements

  • •US citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the United States for permanent residence and have resided in the U.S. for the last five years.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 21 years of age.
  • •Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check and pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
  • •Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance and maintain required medical and physical testing standards.
  • •Possess valid firearm license and ability to obtain an armed state security guard license from Minnesota or Nebraska.
