Job Summary

Lead structural engineering efforts for complex building projects across concept, preliminary, final design, procurement, construction, and operations. Apply advanced structural techniques to perform investigations, research, inspections, and code-compliant plan reviews. Develop construction plans, specifications, estimates, and safety/phasing documents, coordinate cross-functional teams, and produce technical reports, calculations, and 2D/3D deliverables while ensuring QA/QC, durability, and structural soundness.

Key Responsibilities

•Apply structural engineering techniques to identify improvements across building project phases from concept through operations.
•Conduct structural engineering work including research, inspections, investigations, and analysis to ensure conformance with applicable rules, standards, and permits.
•Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates, including safety and phasing plans, and coordinate updates with owners and other disciplines.
•Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams and deliver project execution activities such as budgets, schedules, technical calculations, permit applications, and compliance documentation.
•Coordinate, review, and approve building and infrastructure design plans, ensuring code compliance and producing technical reports, presentations, and engineering deliverables.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline).
•7 to 10 years of relevant post-education engineering experience with prior structural or civil design.
•Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
•Proficiency in structural engineering principles, practices, and design/build for building structural planning and construction management.
•Highly proficient with technical writing and structural software (such as ETABS or RAM) and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
