Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and lead a high-performing team through effective hiring, training, and retention; provide counseling and educate team members on benefits, compensation, and policies.
  • •Guide pre-shift stretching and rotate workstations; ensure all workstations are staffed before production starts and oversee designated shift operations.
  • •Ensure compliance with federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements; interpret and enforce company policies and maintain non-union program requirements.
  • •Maintain accurate records and reports; ensure housekeeping, safety, sanitation, security, and food safety competence; confirm machinery passes USDA inspection before production.
  • •Manage, evaluate, and train production supervisors; promote safety daily with monthly safety meetings and collaborate with department heads to meet production quality and metric goals.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •5+ years of related manufacturing experience; food manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
  • •Must have essential understanding and control of production processes, maintenance, shipping/receiving, sanitation, quality assurance, accounting, safety, and material management.
  • •Strong computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication across all team member levels and with government officials.
  • •Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience managing, evaluating, training, and coaching production supervisors and team members.
