Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform cybersecurity (IA) activities for a large program, coordinating with government and USAF personnel on security policy, standards, and operating procedures.
  • •Conduct network and system audits for vulnerabilities using STIGs/DISA SCAP and vulnerability scanners, and help mitigate findings across Linux, Windows, Cisco, Juniper, and VMware environments.
  • •Create, track, and review POA&Ms and support solution identification for problem remediation and resolution.
  • •Execute DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and coordinate security control validation/testing to determine information systems security posture.
  • •Maintain security accreditation status and supporting system documentation for DoD classified networks; evaluate firewall change requests and guide countermeasures, including leading less-experienced technical staff.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of related experience (8+ preferred) supporting cybersecurity activities for a large program.
  • •Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance; BA/BS degree may substitute additional years of experience.
  • •Meet DOW 8570.01M requirements for IAT Level II (e.g., CASP CE).
  • •Demonstrated understanding of DoD RMF and applicable security frameworks (800-53 Rev 4/Rev 5).
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of data security administration and the ability to conduct vulnerability remediation activities using STIGs and related auditing tools.
