Job Summary

Drive continual improvement in semiconductor manufacturing quality by solving customer returns and partnering closely with business unit quality teams and factory stakeholders. Lead small cross-functional teams using root-cause methods to address factory challenges and provide timely, accurate findings. Communicate performance, opportunities, and next steps in internal and external forums, while supporting work across teams inside and outside of a Texas Instruments fab.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive solutions to customer returns.
•Serve as a bridge between business unit quality teams and the fab, identifying continual improvement opportunities and driving solutions.
•Lead small cross-functional teams to provide timely and accurate root cause and solutions to factory and TI challenges.
•Communicate current performance, opportunities, and next steps in internal and external forums.
•Act as the primary contact for the fab with business unit quality teams and interact daily with engineering peer groups.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering degree.
•5-8 years of experience in a quality or engineering role (or combination) in the semiconductor industry.
•Proficiency in program management, semiconductor process flow, and quality systems including 8D, SPC, DOE, 7QC tools, and quality system audit.
•Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive larger groups.
•Experience with customer-facing programs/work.

Experience:5-8 yearsSemiconductor industry

Education:Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or other related engineering degree
