Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports, assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting documents, including technical review of specialist chapters.
  • •Lead involvement across project life stages from early strategy and site identification through feasibility, optioneering, outline/detailed design, discharging of conditions, and into construction and operation/maintenance.
  • •Ensure deliverables meet the highest quality standards using a critical eye for detail.
  • •Coordinate resources and budgets (with support as applicable) to develop project management skills.
  • •Identify environmental constraints, develop impact avoidance/mitigation solutions, and communicate with clients and internal supply teams to support business development and fee/proposal work.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably a Masters) and an appropriate professional membership.
  • •EIA consultancy experience, including coordinating environmental reports and conducting technical reviews of specialist chapters.
  • •Developing understanding of relevant consenting regimes.
  • •Ability to collaborate as part of an established team and coordinate inputs from specialist technical teams.
  • •Efficient verbal and report writing skills, including technical reviewing, and confidence engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders.
