Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead mechanical systems design for data center and mission-critical projects across delivery models, including cooling infrastructure, HVAC, fire suppression, and plumbing systems.
  • •Serve as a senior client-facing technical lead managing relationships with data center owners, operators, developers, and construction contractors throughout project lifecycles.
  • •Provide technical advisory services during procurement, design review, and construction, including contractor submittal reviews, RFI resolution, and technical assurance.
  • •Lead multidisciplinary coordination to ensure integration between mechanical, electrical, architectural, structural, and other design disciplines.
  • •Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering teams by providing technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of progressive mechanical engineering design experience focused on data centers and mission-critical facilities.
  • •Deep expertise in data center mechanical systems including chilled water plants, air handling/distribution (CRAH/CRAC), high-density cooling (direct liquid cooling, rear-door heat exchangers), and fire suppression (clean agent, water-based).
  • •Strong technical foundation in load calculations, thermal modelling, pipe sizing, hydraulic calculations, and system balancing for mission-critical environments.
  • •Experience delivering projects for major data center owners/operators/developers across design-build, design-bid-build, and advisory engagements.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or related); Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) status strongly preferred.
