Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise the Directional Drilling process and project well paths to predetermined target coordinates.
  • •Ensure BHA assembly matches plans, including correct make-up torque, doping, and handling.
  • •Use DD computer software to produce survey calculations, well path projections, and directional survey data for the client at the well site.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of field experience in Directional Drilling, L/MWD, or SDL, including at least six months in DD.

  • •Ability to read and interpret designed well plans, directional survey information, and other well site data.
  • •Good communication, arithmetic, and strong data entry/recording skills for reports, survey data, and paperwork.
