Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the preparation of transport strategies, scheme appraisal, and/or business case development.
  • •Produce high-quality analysis and associated outputs across regional and national transport planning projects within time and budget.
  • •Provide support to graduates and apprentices.
  • •Prepare and deliver in-person presentations/workshops to internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Support bids to win work and manage deadlines to meet delivery commitments.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree/Masters qualification in an analytical subject (e.g., engineering, geography, mathematics, economics, spatial planning) or equivalent experience.
  • •Membership of, or working towards membership of, a relevant chartered professional institution such as CIHT or TPS.
  • •Experience in transport strategy, planning and/or business case development, with excellent technical capabilities (literacy, numeracy, communication).
  • •Strong analytical background and broad understanding of transport planning methods and best-practice techniques.
  • •Motivated, inquisitive team player with excellent communication skills and adaptability across transport planning projects, including client and stakeholder facilitation.
