Key Responsibilities

•Perform a wide variety of dimensional inspection duties relating to overhaul and repair of engines or components.
•Perform dimensional checks using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
•Work with a variety of precision measurement gauges; height gage, micrometer, calipers and optical comparator.
•Interpret general instructions and specifications such as drawings, service bulletins, repair requests, overhaul manuals, and other technical publications.
•Read and interpret complex blueprint drawings and collaborate with engineering when measuring complicated component configurations.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), CNC machines, manual lathes, or similar inspection equipment.
•Experience operating CMM and performing dimensional checks on engines or components.
•Proficiency with precision measuring gauges (height gage, micrometer, calipers, optical comparator) and ability to read tolerances and complex blueprints.
•Preferred: Associates degree in a STEM field, knowledge of GD&T symbols, ability to interpret blueprints, and CMM programming experience using PCDMIS.
•U.S. Citizenship is required for access under this program/contract.
