Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections with follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment across electrical/brake/cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions; use test instruments and diagnostic tools.
  • •Maintain parts inventory and operate the company-issued service truck, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document repair work on repair orders (including photos/parts/findings) using a company-issued iOS device and proprietary TRAIT application, ensuring timely DOT forms completion.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or alternative combination such as additional degree/certification or 5 years’ related experience).
  • •Obtain and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform job duties.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
  • •Pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a current DOT medical card with more than 4 months remaining).
  • •Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license, with ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
