Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic setting.
  • •Implement FBT, CBT-E, cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID, and other evidence-based treatments across the lifespan.
  • •Maintain a caseload of 30-40 with 20-26 hours dedicated to direct patient care and the remainder to administrative tasks.
  • •Assess and diagnose mental health conditions and maintain quality documentation and ongoing assessments of patients and families.
  • •Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team and communicate via between-session messaging and Equip’s EMR in accordance with policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Virginia.
  • •Provide care for a caseload across all ages with co-occurring conditions and varying acuity.
  • •Passion for evidence-based care and treatment, especially mental health and eating disorder treatment.
  • •Ability to provide direct patient care including 2 evenings per week (available until 8pm in the patient’s primary time zone).
