Key Responsibilities

•Own a portfolio of nationwide litigation and arbitration matters from intake through final resolution, including lawsuits, class actions, investigations, and securities claims.
•Develop and execute strategic, cost-effective case plans, drafting pleadings, discovery, and briefs where appropriate and providing guidance to stakeholders.
•Select, supervise, and evaluate outside counsel while aligning on strategy, budget, and performance.
•Monitor litigation trends and emerging regulations, translating learnings into proactive risk-mitigation and process-improvement recommendations.
•Intake, analyze, and respond to daily questions from internal business units regarding litigation and dispute risk.

Key Requirements

•J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
•3 to 5 years of hands-on litigation experience handling consumer, commercial, regulatory, and/or securities matters in federal and state courts, arbitration, and/or agency proceedings.
•Ability to independently manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, negotiations, and trial or hearing preparation.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills for building relationships and communicating with stakeholders across the organization.
•Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tight deadlines.
