Job Summary

Drive and deliver heavy equipment safely to construction customers using real-time routing and delivery details. Operate according to state and federal transportation laws, manage loading and unloading with proper yard positioning, and keep shipping documentation accurate. Support maintenance by performing routine checks and reporting issues. This full-time in-person role includes overtime, Monday–Friday hours with potential on-call scheduling, and requires CDL compliance and fitness for safety-sensitive work.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and timely on required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Load and unload goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted; return equipment to designated areas.
•Maintain required delivery paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and facilitate routine service by checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; report malfunctions.

Key Requirements

•Must hold a Class A CDL (or chauffeur’s license depending on state) appropriate for the vehicle weight.
•Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state transportation regulations.
•Must pass a DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
•Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; able to remain focused in a busy environment.
