Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and direct small to medium project design teams, coordinating technical work and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • •Prepare scope of work and costing documents for proposals and client engagements.
  • •Coordinate with senior engineering staff, mentor junior team members, and liaise with project stakeholders to maintain organized project execution.
  • •Perform civil design work including erosion and sediment control, SPCC plans, site grading using AutoCAD Civil3D, hydraulic analyses, and stormwater facilities.
  • •Prepare permit applications and respond to agency comments, and develop construction drawings and specifications to implement designs

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Professional Engineer (PE) registration in North Carolina or ability to obtain within one year
  • •5-7 years of professional engineering experience (not including school)
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to perform technical computations and compare to regulations
  • •Valid state driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites and meetings
  • •Project management experience and team leadership skills
