•Establish and maintain Gastonia Manufacturing accounting processes, procedures and initiatives
•Analyze manufacturing cost trends and perform monthly cost analysis; report OPEX and participate in OPEX conference calls
•Prepare supporting documentation for MIS (P&L) reports, S&O reports or other Hyperion reports; assist with EBIT-improving projects
•Manage month-end closing process and standard cost analyses including absorption rates; review standard costs in SAP
•Oversee inventory management with production and logistics to ensure accuracy of SAP postings and physical inventories

Key Requirements

•5-7 years experience in plant and cost accounting
•4-year degree or related experience, preferable in manufacturing and/or automotive industry
•Above average computer skills and experience with SAP S4/Hana, Hyperion, and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
•Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and GAAP, as well as Forecast and Outlook discussions
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
