Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, vet, pitch, sign, and onboard premium consumer lighting manufacturers to secure cost, quality, speed, reliability, and scalability.
  • •Rapidly onboard new lighting vendors using clear testing criteria for cosmetic finishes, structural safety, electronics compliance, and mass-production scale.
  • •Manage supplier relationships through structured onboarding and rigorous performance management using Weekly Business Reviews (WBR) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBR).
  • •Drive operational excellence across existing suppliers while expanding the global vendor base and improving product costs, component quality, and commercial terms.
  • •Collaborate on granular pricing and cost breakdown analysis to achieve target margins, and build replenishment and contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of strategic global sourcing and merchandising experience in portable lighting, table lamps, task lamps, and accent lighting.
  • •Deep understanding of consumer lamp assembly and manufacturing inputs, including shade materials, base materials, inline switches, and dimming technologies.
  • •Proven ability to independently identify opportunities, adapt quickly to changing finish specifications and global manufacturing conditions.
  • •Exceptional attention to detail with a data-driven approach to production decisions and quality assurance.
  • •Strong supply chain and operations background, including consumer goods supply chain management, material logistics, or factory operations, with excellent cross-functional communication.
