Job Summary

Lead technology risk oversight for a cloud-first environment, proactively identifying and assessing technology risks across infrastructure and applications. Evaluate and improve controls, analyze risk data to generate actionable insights, and help develop risk frameworks, appetite statements, and tolerance levels. Communicate complex technical risk information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, produce risk reports and dashboards, and continuously improve risk processes in line with evolving security trends and regulatory changes.

•Proactively identify and assess technology risks across Monzo’s cloud-native infrastructure and applications.
•Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend improvements, using risk data to provide actionable insights.
•Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management frameworks and methodologies for a modern, cloud-first environment.
•Monitor and report on the status of risk mitigation activities, and assist in developing risk appetite statements and tolerance levels.
•Communicate complex technical risk information clearly, prepare regular risk reports and dashboards, and stay current on security trends and regulatory changes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 85,000 - 105,000 annually

•Experience contributing to the development and implementation of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
•A good understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.
