Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in defining, deploying, and governing standardized control system architectures across robotic and automated manufacturing environments.
  • •Develop and implement end-to-end automation integration solutions, including PLC programming standards and reusable components (function blocks, AOIs, templates, naming conventions).
  • •Establish standardized Ignition SCADA and vision system frameworks (tag models, UDTs, alarming, historization, security, visualization).
  • •Lead technical scope definition, integrated solution design, and risk identification/mitigation for automation use cases and business cases.
  • •Support design reviews, FAT/SAT, and onsite commissioning while providing project management support (schedule, budget oversight, and status reporting).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related).
  • •5+ years of experience in packaging, food, pharmaceutical, or high-speed manufacturing environments.
  • •5+ years working with automation/robotics, AGVs/AMRs, IoT, and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, OPC UA).
  • •Experience with MES integration and data historians, plus familiarity with machine learning/AI.
  • •RIA robotic safety knowledge and relevant certifications/experience (e.g., Fanuc education, Ignition Core/Gold, Rockwell Logix/PowerFlex/Motion Control, and Keyence/Cognex as a plus).
