Job Summary

Join the Advanced Manufacturing team to define and deploy standardized control system architectures across robotic and automated manufacturing environments. You’ll govern PLC/HMI/SCADA and robotic control standards, build Ignition SCADA and vision frameworks, and integrate robots with AGVs/AMRs for safe, reliable operation. Partner with manufacturing, IT/OT, safety, and integrators to deliver scalable automation solutions across multiple production sites, including design reviews and commissioning support.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in defining, deploying, and governing standardized control system architectures across robotic and automated manufacturing environments.
•Develop and implement end-to-end automation integration solutions, including PLC programming standards and reusable components (function blocks, AOIs, templates, naming conventions).
•Establish standardized Ignition SCADA and vision system frameworks (tag models, UDTs, alarming, historization, security, visualization).
•Lead technical scope definition, integrated solution design, and risk identification/mitigation for automation use cases and business cases.
•Support design reviews, FAT/SAT, and onsite commissioning while providing project management support (schedule, budget oversight, and status reporting).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related).
•5+ years of experience in packaging, food, pharmaceutical, or high-speed manufacturing environments.
•5+ years working with automation/robotics, AGVs/AMRs, IoT, and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, OPC UA).
•Experience with MES integration and data historians, plus familiarity with machine learning/AI.
•RIA robotic safety knowledge and relevant certifications/experience (e.g., Fanuc education, Ignition Core/Gold, Rockwell Logix/PowerFlex/Motion Control, and Keyence/Cognex as a plus).
