Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement a comprehensive contract management process to ensure successful project execution.
  • •Develop and execute equipment and services procurement strategies for construction projects, including market analysis to achieve best purchasing deals.
  • •Create and negotiate contract documents with the legal department; track and report projected and actual spend and budgetary risk.
  • •Manage vendor relationships to ensure adherence to contracts and resolution of performance or delivery issues.
  • •Lead RFPs, place purchase orders, resolve blocked invoices, and identify/execute cost-reduction and KPI improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, operations or supply chain management, master production scheduling, construction/facilities/industrial plant management, or equivalent 9+ years in lieu of a degree.
  • •Strong background to speak to engineers and manage contract negotiations with strong business acumen.
  • •Construction project management experience and/or construction cost estimate experience.
  • •Strong budget tracking and cost analytical skills, with experience managing large-scale industrial and commercial construction projects.
  • •Strong contract negotiation and document management skills with effective written, verbal, and presentation communication.
