Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I in a Financial Center role focused on consultative, proactive discovery of customer financial needs. During a 4–8 week onboarding and education program, complete rotations in operations and sales/service and earn certification. Build customer profiles, cross-sell retail consumer and small business products, set appointments using marketing tools, and partner with mortgage and business teams while meeting sales and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and perform directed outside sales activities and community financial literacy events.
•Establish relationships with assigned business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) and refer customers appropriately while meeting production and customer experience goals.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Demonstrated ability to build comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
